The United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) is made up of four different time zones. Pacific Standard Time (PST), Mountain Standard Time (MST), Central Standard Time (CST), and Eastern Standard Time (EST). San Francisco would be PST, Denver would be MST, Chicago would be CST, and New York would be EST.
